Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a soft tissue treatment that uses specialized cups to create negative pressure on the skin and underlying tissues. This decompression gently lifts the fascia and muscles, increasing local circulation and helping reduce muscular tension and stiffness.

By improving blood flow and tissue mobility, cupping therapy may assist in reducing inflammation, promoting recovery, and restoring normal movement patterns. It is commonly used to address muscular tightness, myofascial restrictions, athletic recovery, and chronic pain conditions.

Cupping is often incorporated as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that may also include chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, and other manual therapies.

Conditions commonly treated with cupping therapy include:

  • Neck pain

  • Upper back pain

  • Low back pain

  • Shoulder pain and tightness

  • Hip tightness

  • Myofascial pain syndrome

  • Muscle tightness and trigger points

  • Tension headaches

  • Athletic recovery and muscle fatigue

  • Overuse injuries

  • Soft tissue restrictions

  • Postural tension and stiffness
